xAI launched chatbot Grok this week - but is it too little too late for the OpenAI co-founder? There was a time that everything Musk touched seemed to turn to gold, but the Midas days were swiftly overshadowed when he took a particularly sharp knife and ruthlessly murdered everybody's favourite blue bird to lay the foundations for his 'everything' app. An open critic of AI himself, it'll be interesting to see the outcome of Elon's latest move - but as the saying goes, it's likely things will get worse before they get better.
