It was all pomp and pageantry today in Hohoe in the Volta Region as I joined the Chiefs and people of Gbi to celebrate the annual Gbidukor festival. The festival which is celebrated to mark the exploits of the ancestors and a period of family re-union also witnessed the Royal Grand Coronation of Togbega Gabusu VII.

In attendance at the colourful ceremony were Hon. John-Peter Amewu, Minister for Railway Development and MP for Hohoe Constituency, Hon. Noble Daniel Awume, MCE for Hohoe, Hon. Davis Ansah Opoku, MP for Mpraeso, Hon. Dr. Dickson Adomako Kissi, MP for Anyaa Sowutuom, Nana Ohene Ntow, former General Secretary of the NPP, Hon. Yaw Buaben Asamoah, immediate-past NPP Director of Communications, Dr. Samuel Annor, former Eastern Region Chairman, and a host of party functionaries at the regional, constituency and polling station levels.
